When I first decided I wanted to begin making music again after a nearly 7 year hiatus, I realized quickly that my writing chops weren't quite what they used to be. This is the first recording I made in those days and it was the only surviving recording I have from those early ADAT sessions, that's why you hear the door open at the end and me bitching about the vocal - because the mix was done directly to 2 track through an analog board. I wasn't very good at this stuff back then.

The song itself is highly-influenced by The Get up Kids, and I'm pretty sure most of the things I wrote back then were. Nonetheless, it was the first time I used a keyboard successfully, and the end product isn't horrible. So it ended up here.

The ink solidified and stopped the flow
